IGT and Holland Casino Enter Exciting Partnership

Development of Holland Casino's MOSAIC project continues with announcement of landmark IGT deal.

IGT has announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent with Holland Casino. The deal was signed by CEOs of Holland Casino and IGT at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. It promises a dynamic marriage between a market leader in land casino gaming and machines and a casino with 14 properties and over 5.5million customers annually.

The agreement focuses on Holland Casino's MOSAIC project, a significant venture involving system modernization and integration of Holland Casino's casino management tools across all its Dutch properties.

IGT brings a comprehensive suite of resources to the table. It will optimize operational processes and provide excellent customer service, as well as furnishing Holland Casino with an integrated membership and loyalty system. IGT CEO, Patti Hart, said IGT will provide a cutting-edge player experience, while regional IGT Vice President Sabby Gill stressed that IGT will provide unparelleled operational flexibility.

IGT will also ensure responsible gaming practices are adhered to throughout the entire solution, a vital factor for Holland Casino, three-time winner of the “Socially Responsible Casino Operator of the Year” award.

Dick Flink, Holland Casino CEO, said of the partnership, "Holland Casino wants to provide a superior guest experience now and in the future. To achieve this you need more than just a good working system; you need a strategic partner to co-create those delightful moments."

A succcessful partnership could also give IGT's gaming software wing Wagerworks a clear advantage if online gambling is legalized in the Netherlands. Although this is unlikely to happen soon, the new Dutch government has signalled its support for legalization and regulation in the future.
